If two quotations use different specifications or quantity bases, their prices are not comparable. Final availability and lead time remain subject to technical review and current capacity.

The minimum evidence chain should connect the approved product specification to the actual lot supplied. Confirm the product or sequence, SKU, batch number, test date, acceptance criteria, numerical results, release authorization, label and packing record. HPLC purity and mass-spectrometric identity answer different questions and should not be treated as interchangeable; peptide content, water, counter-ion, residual solvents, bioburden or endotoxin are separate attributes added only when justified by the intended context and agreed specification. For higher-risk or repeat programs, request representative chromatograms or spectra and pre-agree how incoming-test differences will be investigated. A generic specification sheet or sample COA describes a format but does not release the commercial lot. Use the pilot to qualify the material and the supply process. Before manufacture, approve the specification, acceptance tests, pack, shipping range and document list. At receipt, record lot identity, container condition, temperature evidence when used, incoming results, communication quality and any deviation response.
